I have reclaimed my maiden name, and no, I do not speak Spanish.
Hawthorn represents courage, transformation, and a portal between the worlds. My goal of having a midwifery practice based on what the hawthorn represents is important to my identity and the ability to provide ethical, inclusive, safe, and trauma-informed care. I aim to educate and provide resources for those in the community and clients. People should feel emboldened, seen, and have a sense of heart-opening when working with Hawthorn Midwifery.
I am from Southern New Hampshire, and after years of living in several states, I am finally home to work in my community within my calling of home birth midwifery. I graduated from Birthwise Midwifery School and have been honored to be providing midwifery care since. I am a mother of two great teens. Extracurriculars include family time, “excessive” reading, homesteading, weight lifting, hiking, and being outdoors.
I hope you will be free to be serious, emotionally dig deep, and laugh while being true to yourself.
Come as you are and become what you need to be.
