Not Your Average Story Slams are lively, women-only storytelling events hosted by Stephanie Theriault and Rachael Meneades of the Maternal Wealth. Each event centers on a specific theme such as birth stories, birth work, or perinatal loss, with the shared intention of reshaping how stories about birth and womanhood are told and held. These intimate gatherings are created for birthing people and women seeking connection, sisterhood, and an evening of honest, powerful storytelling in community.
Get ready to laugh, cry, and experience everything in between as our storytellers share their unique stories.
This in-person event promises to be a night full of emotions and shared experiences. We warmly invite women and birthing individuals to attend, and kindly ask that children not be brought along, given the nature of the event. Thank you for your understanding!
