Dana loves working with pregnant mamas to help them realize the full strength and wonder of their own beautiful bodies. She also has over five hundred hours of specialized training in children’s yoga and 10 years experience with teaching yoga to families and children from birth through high school.
Dana combines her experience in yoga, children’s yoga therapy, music, developmental movement, early childhood education, and as a mom to three young children, to create classes and workshops that are unique to the students’ interests and strengths. Dana strives to help each child and mother build confidence and body awareness while discovering their own unique gifts. She believes that we can help families tackle any troubles and trials that life may bring, by giving them tools that teach us to depend on our own body’s and mind’s strength.
When not teaching yoga in the studio or schools, Dana and her family of 5 enjoy traveling the world, bringing the joy and peace of yoga to children in impoverished areas around the globe. Dana and her husband Ron are ambassadors with Africa Yoga Project, a non-profit organization in Africa bringing yoga, jobs, and hope to young adults in the informal settlements of Africa.
