Dr. Dave was born and raised in Sanford, ME, by two amazing parents and is the youngest of 4 boys. Trying to keep up with his brothers helped establish his competitive nature and love for athletics early on. As a three-sport athlete at Sanford High School participating in soccer, basketball, and track, Dave continued his track career as a decathlete while studying Kinesiology: Exercise Science at the University of New Hampshire.

In April 2011, Dr. Dave graduated from Logan University in St. Louis, MO, with a Doctorate of Chiropractic and Masters of Sports Science & Rehabilitation. Doiron Chiropractic was established in Saco, ME, in 2012 and recently purchased Dr. Marc Malon’s practice across the river in Biddeford in June 2021. He resides in Biddeford with his wife Colleen, daughter Andie, son Milo, and daughter Ivy. He loves to travel, learn, joke, and be a dad.
