I learned Chinese Medicine and earned my Master’s degree at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) in Newton, MA. I am licensed by the MA Board of Registration in Medicine and the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
I have a particular interest in Fertility & Women’s Health. Acupuncture has been proven in clinical trials to improve a woman’s chance of conceiving and sustaining pregnancy. If you are considering starting a family or having difficulty conceiving, acupuncture is an effective therapy in your journey to parenthood.
How I found acupuncture
20 years ago, I turned to acupuncture to cope with my miserable allergies. When I moved out of the city to a woodsy town, I nearly fell apart. Twelve months a year, I had severe asthma attacks and the occasional hospital stay. I owned my own nebulizer, received twice weekly immunotherapy injections, lots of steroids, daily antihistimines, topical ointments for dermatitis and prescription eyedrops. My health was truly suffering.
I began seeing an acupuncturist I met in yoga class. I desperately needed help ~ I was cranky and anxious, and always felt lousy. The treatments were profoundly effective in improving my symptoms and (bonus!) super relaxing. The allergies improved as did my immunity, energy, mood and sleep…all without more meds or unwelcome side effects.
And that’s what I’d like to share with you… some relief!
