Hello, friend. I’m so glad you’re here. Whether you’re dreaming of becoming a parent, preparing for birth, or navigating postpartum, I hope we get the chance to connect. I’m Kaitlyn, a DONA Certified Birth Doula and Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator. I take a holistic, natural-minded approach to care, one that emphasizes the sacredness of birth and parenthood, rooted in compassion, trust, and evidence-based education. I’ve been immersed in the birth world since 2018 and have had the joy of walking with many families through pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum days. I specialize in supporting those planning an unmedicated hospital birth, pursuing home birth, navigating birth anxiety, or simply wanting thoughtful advocacy and care along the way. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education, and before becoming a doula and childbirth educator, I spent a decade teaching in the classroom. I’ve always been drawn to roles that nurture growth and offer direction, and teaching taught me the power of presence, patience, and steady guidance while caring for children and their families. Both of my children were born unmedicated at home, and I have a deep love and respect for home birth. I personally value the midwifery model of care, and my own experiences taught me how essential it is to be surrounded by people you trust and feel safe with. I truly believe the right place to give birth is wherever you feel safest, whether that’s at home, in a hospital, or at a birth center. My hope is that you feel truly seen, supported, and empowered in every step of this journey. I offer wholehearted care rooted in trust and love, and it’s my honor to serve families as they grow into their next season of life. Kaitlyn is a DONA International trained birth doula, Rhode Island Certified Perinatal Doula, educator, wife, and parent serving both Rhode Island and Connecticut. She utilizes evidence-based childbirth education to teach, Spinning Babies techniques to physically support, trauma informed care to emotionally support and her Birth Monopoly training to encourage advocacy with her clients.
