Kate Barton is a licensed acupuncturist and Chinese herbal medicine practitioner from Belgrade, Maine. She is a board certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine through the NCCAOM. She received her BS in Animal and Veterinary Sciences from the University of Vermont and her Master of Science from the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the New York Chiropractic College, where she graduated as a member of the Phi Chi Omega Honor Society. She studied abroad at Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of TCM in Hangshou, PRC, receiving over 100 clinical hours. Her passions include mental health concerns (anxiety, depression, PTSD, insomnia) and women’s health. She is known as the ‘low back whisperer’.
