Kate McCarthy, Lic. Ac. is board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and licensed to practice Chinese Medicine in the State of New Hampshire. Kate holds a Master of Acupuncture from the Academy of Five Element Acupuncture. She has been practicing in the Monadnock region since 2016.

In 2014, Kate completed her graduate studies at the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture earning both a Master Acupuncture and Certificate of Herbal Studies. She also holds a BA in English from Syracuse University and a MFA in Writing from Emerson College. Currently, Kate is a member of the Worsley Institute, New Hampshire Acupuncture & Asian Medicine Association, American Society of Acupuncturists and a Certified Provider of Hospice and Palliative Care Acupuncture (CPHPCA).

Outside of the office, Kate enjoys organizing medical trips to Guatemala that serve indigenous families in the Guatemalan Highlands.
