Lauren has spent over a decade caring for children in a multitude of ways and is honored to have found herself on the path to midwifery. Passionate about full-spectrum support from the preconception to the postpartum period, Lauren offers her warm, supportive, and nurturing presence in every aspect of the care she gives.

Born and raised in North Carolina, Lauren relocated to Maine in March of 2021 to pursue her midwifery education. Lauren’s background in Global Health and Philosophy lead her to discover there are many ways to care for and support the liberation of birthing bodies. Her entry into birth work began as a doula, where Lauren spent years serving families in their reproductive journies. She hopes to integrate her love of children, pregnancy, and reproductive justice into her work as a midwife and beyond.
