Lisa Charron, PT, DPT completed her doctorate of physical therapy at the University of Rhode Island. She trained with the APTA Section on Women’s Health (now Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy) and the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She is a member of the International Pelvic Pain Society and APTA, has served as Rhode Island state representative for the Academy of Pelvic Health, and as Vice Chair of the Rhode Island Pelvic Floor PTs interest group. Clinical interests include urinary and bowel dysfunction, sexual and pelvic pain, and pregnancy and postpartum care; she also treats lymphedema and pelvic floor disorders in patients with neurological conditions. She practices with Spaulding Pelvic Health Rehabilitation at Care New England (East Greenwich/Kent).
