Morgan Gaines, CPM, LM, NHCM is a Certified Professional Midwife, New Hampshire Certified Midwife, Maine Licensed  Midwife and graduate from MEAC Accredited Birthwise Midwifery School. After giving birth to her three children at a free standing birth center under the care of  midwives and serving over 200 women in a rigorous and extensive educational & clinical program, she is extremely proud to offer the option of midwifery care and home birth to women in Seacoast Southern Maine & New Hampshire where her roots grow the deepest. She has worked alongside the area’s most experienced midwives and has gained a deep respect for safe, responsible and sacred care and home birth. She takes pride in carrying those same ethics with her to her local hometown and surrounding areas. Morgan also feels passionate about building and maintaining a strong midwifery and home birth community and serves as the Co-Chair of MACPM (Maine Association of Professional Midwives), President of NHMA (New Hampshire Midwives Association), Board Member of Maine Maternal Fetal and Infant Mortality Review Board  and  a  member of NACPM (Natonal Association of Certified Professional Midwives) Additionally, Morgan‘s passion for women,  extends to working with preteens and teens to educate and help  extend their body literacy and self advocacy. In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her family, true crime podcasts, delving into continuing education and the ever changing factors in perinatal and newborn health and adding to her collection of pets including 3 dogs, 3 cats and a house rabbit.
