Rose is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy with a pelvic health focus. She received both her undergraduate and doctorate degrees from Northeastern University in Boston. Rose has undergone comprehensive training in pelvic health conditions through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and mentorship programs.
Rose loves to treat patients with complex pelvic pain, urinary urgency, and pain with intercourse, as well as help prepare patients for birth. She believes in the importance of providing individualized care to each patient through a combination of manual techniques, strengthening, and mobility exercises. She is also trained in dry needling techniques, including needling of the pelvic floor muscles.
Rose has received training in sex counseling and is passionate about improving the sexual health of her patients. She utilizes problem-solving techniques, education, and specific suggestions to help patients with their present sexual concerns.
At Foundations Pelvic Health, Rose is able to holistically treat patients in order to create lasting change throughout the whole body – not just the pelvic floor. Rose understands the courage and vulnerability it takes to seek treatment for pelvic floor conditions as a previous patient herself. She is passionate about educating patients about their own bodies, so they feel more empowered within the clinic during treatment and outside the clinic doing what they love. She hopes to bring more awareness to the growing field of pelvic health physical therapy through community outreach & regularly speaks with new parent groups.
In her free time, Rose enjoys walks along the Esplanade, finding great coffee shops and restaurants in Boston, and taking strength training classes. She is a dual citizen of the U.S. & U.K. and loves traveling to new destinations.
