With over 25 years in the social work field and 20 years as a practicing psychotherapist, I bring both professional expertise and personal experience to my work. I began my career supporting children and adolescents, but after becoming a mother, I developed a deep passion for maternal mental health.
Even as a therapist, I didnāt recognize that I was experiencing a perinatal mood and anxiety disorder (PMAD) myself. That experience changed everythingāit deepened my empathy, reshaped my approach, and inspired me to support other women through the emotional complexities of motherhood.
I work with women at all stages of the perinatal journeyāfrom family planning and infertility to postpartum and beyond. I know motherhood can bring immense joy, but also fear, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, sadness, and rage. You are not alone. I see you, I hear you, and Iām here to help you navigate it all with understanding and support.
I have specialized training in perinatal mental health including Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Pregnancy and Infant Loss, Infertility, Birth Trauma, Family Planning, and Parenting.
