Hey there! My name is Rae Ann Koonce, otherwise known as The Inked Doula, and I am a seasoned, experienced Certified Birth & Bereavement Doula (CBBD) and Certified Breastfeeding Counselor (CBC). I am a firm believer that every woman has the right to have a doula by their side when they give birth and should be able to afford one. I serve the North Texas/Texoma area and am willing to travel up to two hours from my location to assist women who are pregnant and in labor. The presence of a doula during pregnancy and labor can result in possibly shorter labor, possibly lower the chance of needing Pitocin or an epidural and overall help you have the birth you want, your way. And because I am a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor, after baby is born I can assist with basic breastfeeding issues as well.
