Valerie Bell, MD is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist at Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinics in Nashua, NH. She attended the University of Vermont School of medicine and completed her residency at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in 2003. During her residency she spent a year training in Nashua at Southern NH Medical Center and fell in love with the area. She started her practice at Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinics in Nashua in 2003, providing over 20 years of care to women in the community and working as an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology with students from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Dr. Bell provides care to obstetric patients in the area, collaborating with Maternal Fetal Medicine providers from Dartmouth Health on high risk pregnancies. She provides gynecological care in the office including birth control, treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding, menopause and routine gynecological care. She has been performing gynecological surgeries for over 20 years including office procedures. She also works with Dartmouth Health specialty providers in Gynecological Oncology and Urogynecology, helping patients receive the care they need for gynecologic cancers, pelvic prolapse and incontinence. Dr. Bell has received the NH Magazine Top Doctors Award from 2017-2024 and Castle Connolly’s Exceptional Women in Medicine from 2020-2024. She is a graduate of Leadership New Hampshire in 2020. When she is not working she can be found at the ski mountains with her family in the winter and working in the garden in the summer. She has been a beekeeper for many years to help her gardens thrive.
